Banana Cakes

Banana Peanut Loaf

Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/gas mark 4

Use a 900g/2 lb loaf tin.

Grease and line the tin. Sift the flour and wheat germ. Mix in sugar, dates, butter, milk, sour cream and mashed bananas. Pour into the tin, sprinkle with nuts, bake for about 1 1/4 hours. Cool for 10 mins. before turning out on a rack.
