Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas mark 5
Cream together the butter, golden syrup/corn syrupand sour cream. Sift the flour and soda into bowl, stir in the oats, banana chips and sugar. Gradually add to the creamed mixture. Mix well.
Drop 2 level teaspoons of the mixture together onto a greased baking tray. Repeat with the remaining mixture, allowing about space between the cookies. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned; cool on trays.
